Zhang Ling 張岭

Born in Beijing, China ,Sep 1976 .

Fanfan Chinese Language Academy was founded by our principal, Ms. Zhang Ling, whose goal was to introduce an effective method of Chinese language learning to students in Japan. At Fanfan, students learn modern Chinese in a fun and immersive environment.

Success in the field of education

Zhang Ling relocated to Tokyo with 4 years' teaching experience at renowned schools in Beijing, China. Through her experience in China and as a Chinese tutor in Tokyo, she established a unique and effective learning method which gained popularity within the international community in the Shibuya/Minami Azabu areas (Azabu-juban, Roppongi, Hiroo and Ebisu). Soon, she was invited to teach Chinese at Nishimachi International School, followed over the years by Willowbrook, British School in Tokyo, ASIJ and International School of Sacred Heart.

After much encouragement and demand from parents, Zhang Ling established Fanfan Chinese Language Academy in 2019 in Hiroo. At Fanfan, Ms Zhang serves as principal and teacher, and focuses on educating other teachers in her original methods.

Fan Fan Academy Learning Method

Fanfan Academy is for students of all ages, from 2 years to adults. Education plans are tailored to the individual student to fit not only their Chinese language level, but also learning goals, temperament and lifestyle. In class, the students are fully immersed in the world of Chinese culture through Chinese rhymes, singing and dancing, costume and role playing, multi-media, field trips, small animal petting and even Chinese cooking class.

Students use modern textbooks and learning materials, and Ms. Zhang is also an author and editor of her own textbooks, which are used in international schools in Tokyo.

Ambitions for the future

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Fanfan Chinese Language Academy's online classes were broadened and now has students from all over the world.

Ms. Zhang  herself is a continuous learner and is committed to expanding Fanfan Chinese Language Academy and reaching more students through her effective learning methods. Recently Ms.Zhang got senior certificate of Professional Director Of Kindergarten and start to plan of International kindergarten in Tokyo area.

1976年9月、中国の北京に生まれる。 ファンファン中国語アカデミーは、日本在住の日本人や外国人の学生に効果的な中国語学習の方法を紹介することを目的としたチャン・リン校長によって設立されました。ファンファン中国語アカデミー では、学生は楽しく没入できる環境で現代中国語を学びます。

教育分野での成功

チャン・リン校長は、中国の北京にある有名な学校で4年間の教育経験を積んで、東京に移転しました。彼女は中国での経験と東京での中国人教師としての経験をもとにして、ユニークで効果的な学習方法を確立し 、渋谷/南麻布地域（麻布十番、六本木、広尾、恵比寿）の国際人社会で人気を博しました。彼女は西町インターナショナルスクールで中国語を教えるように招待され、その後は、ウィローブルック、ブリティッシュスクール・イン・トーキョー、ASIJ、聖心インターナショナルスクールと多くの著名なインターナショナルスクールで現在に至るまで続いています。 生徒様やそのご家族からの多くの励ましと要望を受け、チャン・リン校長は2019年に広尾にファンファン中国語アカデミー を設立しました。ファンファンでは、校長兼教師を務め、独自の方法で生徒様だけならず他の教師を育成することに注力しています。
